About Master Judith

In 2008, I was working hard and still struggling to feed my children. I wanted to understand why. That question led me to Feng Shui, years of study, and the work I do today.

During the economic crisis, my family had no money for enough food. We had to share a single bowl of oatmeal.
I opened up to a friend who was a Feng Shui practitioner. I was crying as I asked why other people seemed to have better opportunities when I worked just as hard, sometimes harder. Why was my family still struggling?
That was when she introduced me to Feng Shui. I wanted to understand what I could change in our lives.

2010
I saved what money I could to study Feng Shui. I wanted to learn how to make life better for my family.
In 2010, I traveled to Malaysia to study at the Lillian Too Institute of Feng Shui. It was my first trip abroad, and I went alone.
The training was expensive. I also had trouble with immigration when I arrived. I wanted to understand the advice I had been following and learn how to use it in our daily lives.

I tried statues, lucky colors, lucky numbers, bracelets, and gemstones. I wanted to believe they could help. I even sold them through our shop, Judith Jade Gemstones and Designs, at Parkmall in Mandaue City.
They did not bring the changes I had hoped for. As I studied with other masters, I began to question the advice I had accepted and passed on to others.
I eventually stopped selling charms and gemstones. I had to be honest about my own experience before I could advise anyone else.

In 2014, I went to Hong Kong to learn from Grand Master Raymond Lo. My studies with him included BaZi, which uses a person’s birth date and time, and I Ching.
I kept looking for teachers who could help me understand more. I wanted to know how they reached a conclusion and why they recommended a change.
I continue studying with different masters today. People trust me with decisions about their homes, families, and work. I owe them advice I understand and can explain.

2020
In June 2020, I wrote a SunStar column called Do you believe in Feng Shui? It challenged beliefs about lucky charms, house numbers, stair counts, and rituals.
I knew what it was like to spend money hoping something would help. I wanted my readers to understand the advice they received and make better choices.
I explained what I assess in a property: the surrounding land, the direction of the main door, beds, stoves, and work areas. In classical Feng Shui, these help us assess qi, the energy we believe flows through a place. I also wrote about the part our own actions play in our lives.

2021
In August 2021, I wrote about working with my daughter, architect Judith Marie Eugenio, in my SunStar series, Feng Shui + Architecture.
I was able to provide for the education of all four of my children. My daughter is now an architect and co-founder of Arkada Arkitekto, her own architecture firm. After the years when I struggled to feed them, being able to support their education meant a great deal to me.

We work together on our clients’ properties. She plans rooms around a client’s needs. I assess the property’s Feng Shui. We discuss the entrance, kitchen, bedrooms, and building direction while the plans are taking shape.
Our clients get recommendations we have worked through together, with attention to how the building will actually be designed and used. I feel proud seeing my daughter bring her own knowledge to the people we help.
2025
In 2025, we also celebrated 15 years of our BaZi and Feng Shui practice.
In the same year, we established East West Feng Shui Solutions LLC in the United States. I now work from Los Angeles, California, while our Philippine team continues through Judith Eugenio Global Bazi & Feng Shui Consultancy.
The questions people bring me still feel familiar: a home they want to build, a career change they are considering, or a family they want to care for. I remember having questions like those myself.

I published Move With Clarity under the name Judith McKenzie. In the book, I write about BaZi, work, health, and relationships to help readers think through their own choices.
